Asbestos Awareness

While all persons working in construction and demolition are usually aware of the need for Asbestos Awareness Training, this course is also important for people involved in general maintenance as well as fire and burglar alarm engineers, IT and Telecoms engineers and installers, electricians, plumbers, painters and decorators… in fact anyone who may potentially come in contact with asbestos or asbestos containing materials.

Current guidance states Asbestos Awareness Training should be 1 day long with no more than 12 attendees. This course complies with this guidance and is for those persons who are liable to disturb asbestos while carrying out their normal everyday work, or who may influence how work is carried out, such as:

  • general maintenance staff;
  • painters and decorators;
  • electricians;
  • joiners;
  • plumbers;
  • plasterers;
  • gas fitters;
  • demolition workers;
  • construction workers;
  • roofers;
  • heating and ventilation engineers;
  • telecommunications engineers;
  • fire alarm installers;
  • computer installers;
  • burglar alarm installers
  • shop fitters;
  • architects, building surveyors and other such professionals;
