The course provides qualification to those who work where food is prepared, cooked and served.

Course Content:

This Core Modules of this course includes:

  • Terminology used in food safety
  • The laws that apply to food businesses and food handlers
  • The concepts of food hazards and how the risk of food poisoning can be contained
  • How to take product and equipment temperatures
  • Importance of high temperatures in the supply of safe food
  • Importance of cleaning in food premises
  • The need for high standards

Duration:      6 hour programme

(Usually delivered in 1 day however alternatives can be discussed to suit the needs of the business)

Location:      This training can take place in house for your own convenience or at external premises
